From the Land of UnFreedom

The LAPD has banned the wearing of hats, helmets, and hoodies inside stores.

Ostensibly this is to ban criminals from coming in and robbing the place. Of course, someone who is going to come in and rob a store probably doesn't care that they are ALSO violating penal code 602 and "essentially trespassing".

I can understand the business owner's alarm if I come in wearing a ski-mask, but criminalizing a citizen's attire? Are they serious about this? What's next? Will we have to enter stores bare-ass nekkid with our hands held up in plain sight just in case we have a weapon tucked up between our butt cheeks?

give me a second to get my jaw up off of the ground. Although i'm not sure why I'm surprised...

People giving up more of their freedom and rights in the name of "security" (oh yeah the TSA)

I propose a boycott of every store that posts those signs.

It's a local ordinance now, not just something a few of the stores came up with. In fact, I suspect they threw that up there so that the individual stores (who undoubtedly supported this ordinance) would be able to avoid an individual boycott.

Well, all I can say ... has already been said. It doesn't surprise me.

However, having said that ... in a EOTWAWKI situation ... if you're approaching my place ... ya better be "bare-ass nekkid with our hands held up in plain sight just in case we have a weapon tucked up between our butt cheeks" LOL

And yes Ernie, that includes you! :P
