War in Uganda

So now Obama is sending troops to Uganda? They will supposedly be in an advisory role, but when the local boys turn out not to be capable of the mission then it always seems like it's Americans who have to do the fighting, and the dying.

The Lord's Resistance Army is a bunch of nutjobs and bad actors, alright. Those are the guys who got pushed back into the Congo and resorted to catching and eating the indigenous pygmy tribes. Even when out in civilization they've been pretty nasty ... raping and pillaging across three different African countries.

The question is not whether or not the LRA are bad people ... they are. The question is, what threat do they pose to Americans? What national interest do we have sending a SINGLE soldier into that country in order to help them deal with what is effectively their problem? They've been fighting out there since 1987. This is an African problem, not an American one.

Unless of course Obama really just wants to find their leader and have him brought to America to serve in a cabinet position. Future Attorney General after Eric Holder resigns, perhaps?

I'm starting to wonder if there isn't another motive for having so many troops overseas, including all those State Guard Troops...

Also wonder why Owe just doesn't go to his buddies at the UN and have them deal with it...
