So glad you mentioned this. Someone asked me yesterday why I left NYC... I told them "let's see, Schumer was elected, Clinton going to run for Senator and Bloomberg is now Mayor, I was tired of paying Federal, State AND NYC income tax..."
NYPD is the largest, non military, militarized force in the nation with over 30,000 officers (granted 8 million people live in NYC). They have their own "intellegence" network and heavan only knows what type of "toys". NYPD has been caught doing "survellience" of americans in other municipalities and has it's own air and water contingents.
How many other municipalities are watching what NYPD is doing to see what they maight be able to get away with?
Also, let's not forget that Bloomie engineered himself a 3 term, getting the city council to make an "exception" to the 2 term limit for mayors.
