September 13th Bunker Index - The Pilgrim Road Takes a Turn

Today we've got a BI of NINE which makes it a Very Alarming Day. Never matter. There is work to be done. We Christians think differently of the world. We do not think of our own brief lives here in this material plane, but rather our future in Heaven in the presence of our Lord. All of our lives we have drank from wells we have not dug and that filled from the top rather than the bottom, with the abundance of grace from the Lord.

A time of drought, a time of judgement is at hand. As in a vineyard, the hand of God will prune back the vines that don't bear fruit and trim the fruitful so that they may bear more and sweeter fruit. This is a frightening time, to be sure, but we must go deep into the well of Grace for its life-sustaining waters.

Lord, today I pray that you make my needs few so my burden may be light as I do your will. Guide my footsteps as I walk the pilgrim road. Though many fall by the wayside, strengthen my soul that I may walk with your spirit beside me for all my days.

1. Delivered from a reader to my inbox today, we have the alarming report from the "Washington insider" that socialist forces inside of the Obama administration, possibly even the Big O himself, are working to unionize the entire military via executive order. I can't fully imagine the catastrophe that this would be and it would ultimately destroy force readiness, but I think the real reason would be that it would cement control between this very union-friendly White House administration and the military in preparation for their use against the American people.

2. In Kabul we have a Taliban coordinated strike against the US embassy and other American assets. This country will never be pacified and it serves no strategic interest to let our sons and daughters be ground up into mincemeat there. It's long past time to bring our troops home.

3. Israel is now completely surrounded on all sides by enemies who want them dead. And we're only a week away from the crucial vote for Palestinian statehood.

4. Just like this summer was a hot and brutal one, this winter is shaping up for its own extremes. According to the Farmer's Almanac, we're in for a really cold and wet winter. I'm not completely sold on the accuracy of its forecasting, as all weather forecasting is little more than horoscopes with numbers, but I think it prudent to get a little more firewood on hand.

5. Home invasions are on the rise. It's a good idea to stay armed all day long.

6. The Obama administration is planning on paying for its $450 billion jobs bill with increased taxes on employers and employees. Yeah, that ought to work. This is what happens when you put socialists in charge of your capitalist society. What's next? The government will hire everyone?

7. Has preaching the gospel become illegal in America? A preacher discusses.

8. Kill your television. A recent study (video link here) has indicated that just watching NINE minutes of "Spongebob" causes short term memory loss and attention problems in 4 year olds. Frankly, in my opinion, the only reason for any of you to have a television in your household is to watch endless loops of "Firefly" episodes.

9. Postal workers have refused to deliver cd recordings of the Gospel after they decided that the recordings were "offensive material". Is it any wonder that God has decided not to bless their endeavors and that they are bankrupt? Let them fail, I say. Everything important can go via FedEx or UPS and all the rest is just junk mail.

Sept 12 Bunker Index - The Real 9/11 Memorial We Don't Talk About

Let's talk about the REAL 9/11 memorial, shall we? I'm not referring to that embarassing hole in the ground that celebrates American political dysfunction and fear. I'm referring to what America has become after a handful of primitive holdouts from a maniacal religion managed to seize control of some planes.

1,000 police officers shutting down New York as they searched every car, set up roadblocks and ID checks on the streets, and hassled passerby is the REAL memorial. Out of fear, Americans repeatedly are willing to let their government toss aside the Constitution and implement any new criminal acts that they wish. We haven't even been able to challenge them.

The real 9/11 memorial is all around us, enshrined in the Patriot Act and it's repeated proliferation into other bills and laws. It's there when a TSA bureaucrat gropes up your daughter and forces you to smile about it. It's there every time a corrupt police unit kicks in a door and murders someone and then expects the public to forgive them by referring to how many police and firefighters died on 9/11. It's there every time another American questions your patriotism if you dare to challenge the official story.

We invited government into our lives to protect us from third-world zealots who supposedly "hate us for our freedom". Now that we no longer have that freedom they still seem to hate us just as much, and there's no clean way to remove government's stranglehold on us. The real 9/11 memorial is the police state we've built in the past ten years.

1. Despite a myriad of false alarms and over 1,000 police officers turning New York into a police state, the 10th anniversary of 9/11 appears to have been uneventful. As a nation, do we really want to continue to let threats from third-world enemies hiding in caves give our politicians the excuse to undermine the Constitution?

2. Greece is still going down in flames. Apparently they haven't actually managed to implement any austerity measures despite the bailouts they received. So now they aren't getting any more money. They are headed towards what the media is saying is an "orderly default".

3. An explosion at a nuclear power plant in Southern France has occurred. Still waiting on more details.

4. The Japanese have acknowledged that market tensions are high. Welcome to the party, pal. They've got a debt-to-GDP ratio higher than any industrialized nation out there, so their little island is going to get awful crowded here pretty soon.

5. In Massachusetts, a wife called the police on her husband who was stockpiling tear gas grenades and pepper spray in preparation for declarations of martial law. I guess if you're going to survive the world going all Mad Max then you'd better make sure your wife is on board.

6. Obama has proposed as part of his jobs package a change to the unemployment system. Now unemployed people will have a share of YOUR job. For every five employees, if one gets laid off then the other four will have their hours cut to keep the worker on the payroll (whether or not they are needed) and in return the four remaining employees will get a portion of that ex-employee's (who is an employee again now) unemployment benefits. Sound confusing? You betcha. Just the kind of crap you can expect from a socialist idiot who has never held a job in his life or ran a business.

Courage with Compassion

One of the great duties of a Christian soldier is to remain separate from this world while still maintaining compassion for it. We must do the right thing though it brings earthly harm upon us; we must not do the wrong thing though it would bring us earthly gain.

Be strong, Christians. The world needs us now more than ever.

2nd Corinthians 6:17-18
Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you, And will be to you a Father, And ye shall be to me sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Noisy Generator Leads to Assault

In the OC, a man assaulted his neighbor with a flashlight because his generator was too loud. Apparently during the blackout the properly prepared neighbor refused to turn off his generator which was annoying his grasshopper neighbor. So the grasshopper neighbor thunked him on the head with his flashlight. Do you think it was one of those big, heavy Maglight kinds? I'm betting that in California it's still a crime but from having run my own generator, I can sort of see the complaint. They are pretty noisy. Maybe he should get a personal injury lawyer and see if he can't launch a suit from inside his jail cell.

To My Friends Visiting from HomesteadingToday

Good to see you! I hope you're finding the info useful to you as you prepare for what's coming down the pipe. Life is certainly about to get ugly for many.

I encourage you to share the info and links with all of your friends in all of the myriad of internet places you may go. The more people who are aware and prepared for what is coming, the easier it will be on us when it gets here.

The Repo Men

Do you think China is just going to let their investment dissolve? Do you think they're going to just let us print worthless currency until we run out of ink? Do you think they'll just shrug off trillions of dollars and let you go your own way when they have the largest surplus population of males 18-30 in the history of mankind?

America, your banker is on line #1.

Brace for Impact

Denninger lays it out for us.

This is my favorite line:

"You cannot solve a debt crisis with more debt any more than you can fix a drunk with a case of whiskey."

When the European nations collapse and then finally get their feet under them again, do you think there will be repercussions for America since we let the Federal Reserve gain so much power over the whole world?
